Books Add Culture And Entertainment The literature of today deals with the newest sci- ence fiction thriller to the Encyclopedia Britannica. Under the excellent management of Mr. L. W. Smith. head lihrarian. and Mrs. lVlargene Lewis. assistant librarian. our lihrary is very up-to-date with refer- ence. entertainment and educational material. Wlieri research papers are due. the lilirary sud- denly becomes an extremely liusy place. The refer- ence corner proves its helpfulness with information dealing with sulujects ranging from the manufacture of perfume to the many religions of the world. In addition to lueing a source of reference mate- rial, the lihrary is very often a favorite study retreat for study-conscious students. lVlany students also find the lihrary very helpful in securing interesting material for stories and speeches. For those students interested in just plain read- ing. the lihrary offers selections of fiction. including thrilling adventure stories, exciting mysteries, and gay romances. Current magazines from auto me- chanics to fashions are also availahle to students to use. The joli of showing movies as a form of education is placed in the hands of our audio-visual boys, also under the direction of Mr. Smith. The system em- ployed here at ,left for lending hooks is similar to that of a puhlic lilsrary.
