Page 18 For those students who are planning lo venture out into the world of business, jeff offers a variety of courses designed to give the student a basic knowledge of business essentials. To those who are interested in secretarial jobs. jeff offers typing. shorthand. transcription. book- keeping. and ollice practice. Typing is submitted to the student in three courses. Typing l is basically a course which helps the individual to master the fundamental skills. ln Typing ll. speed and accuracy are stressed. Shorthand has a strong appeal to those students that are college-bound as well as those who go into the world of business. lt enables one to take dieta- tion rapidly. Transcription. advanced shorthand combined with typing. is transcribing letters on the typewriter. Oliice practice shows the student how to run an ofiice and how to perform secretarial duties. Hook- keeping teaches the student to keep accurate records of business transactions.
