Our creative ability is expressed Art, although not always acknowledged as such, is an important factor of living in the modern world of today. Even though most people admire the results oi art, many times they do not think of them as being connected with art. The left Art Department offers four semesters oi art and an advanced art class. There are many professions based on art. Even if art is not to be a part of your future career, if you have talent, it is good to develop it. Around Ieff the most evident production of the art classes is seen at the Red and Black Revue. The art students work hard and long on the scenery that is used. Every year the art department holds a poster contest. The posters are based on slogans to discourage drinking and reckless driving. The great talent developed in the art classes is very evident in the work the students create. Many students carry their work outside of Ieff to various contests. A little talent, a good deal of desire and hard work, and help from the Ieff Art Department will create the artists of the future. Finishing an art display are Roger Circle and Iane Needham.
