Bill Gray and Sue Gerbens intently work in the chemistry lab on a tedious experiment. Page 14 Mr. Levering explains the funda' mentals of physics to Charles Smith and Clyde Mauek. We advance with A good background of science is beneficial to all men, no matter what their places in the world might be. Biology, introduced in junior high, is contin- ued as an elective for sophomores, juniors, and seniors. Interesting phases of Biology Ill are field trips, experiments, and the scientific solv- ing of various problems. Physics, an elective for juniors and seniors, is the study of energy, matter, and the physical changes of matter. Smelly chemicals, smoke, and bubbling test tubes are associated with chemistry, an elective course for juniors and seniors. Specially chosen sophomores may take a course of three semes- ters of chemistry and physics. Physical Science combines the fundamentals of both physics and chemistry. To give information about the countries of the world, world geography is offered. We can not appreciate the wonders of science and nature unless we know about them and partially under- stand them. The best way to do this is through the Science courses offered at Ieff.
