Another large accomplishments made this year was the presenting uf l'Daddy Long Legs. a three-act comedy drama. under the direction ot' Miss Hlanche KlcNeely. Q I Q U m I A Hlx bunshine Society. which includes all the girls ot letter- son High School. is divided into four different committees. ?i the Program Committee..tliesfliristinzisi llasklet Committee, 4 i and the Inside and Uutside bunshine L ommittees. liaeh committee has a teacher and at student at its head and each have certain duties to perform during' the term. The l'rogram t'ommittee makes out the progranis for the entire year and prints pamphlets for each girl in the school, telling' who is on the committee and what sort of meeting' it will lie. They have planned many clever stunts. including a Christmas party for the orphans and also a take-ol? of the teachers-hax'ing students imitate certain teach- ers. Other interesting meetings of the year were the St. l'atrick's day program. the Rlothe-r's day party and Farewell party for the Senior girls. The Christmas Hasket Committee, which is the most important ofthe committees. tilled sixty-tour Christmas lmaliets full of funds and toys and delivered them to the homes of the people in need. The Inside Sunshine Committee does its work inside of the school. try- ing' to comfort and give aid to any girl that may lie in need. and makes new girls feel as though they were wanted. The Qutside Sunshine Committee does its work outside of the school. They send flowers and notes to the girls that are ill and unable to attend school.
