During the past year we have made the big change from an in- adequate plant and inadequate facilities, to a new building which has much to offer us in the way of education, social life, and happiness. The year has been one that has been full of joys, as well as sorrowsg full of triumphs, as well as errors. The pages that follow will carry a meaningful story to those of you who have lived it. I hope that the story told in these pages are only the story of a beginning. It is my sincere hope that the story told here, indicates that a solid foundation has been laid for the future. Our parents and our school district have furnished us with a fine environment but the fulfillment of the possibilities that are found in this environment can only be reached if we, as individuals, make an effort to fulfill them. The story of Jefferson High School will be written in the future annuals, that are published by this school. This story will be a good one if each student will pledge his loyalty to St. Jeff and all that he stands for. Most certainly only the loyalty of individual members of our school will make our story a glowing one. If this story is what many of us hope it will be, it means that all of us must work hard at every task and every job that we have to do while here. This is the message that your principal wishes to leave with you. 2 Table of Contents . . . Administration . . . Faculty . . . Classes . . . Athletics . . . Organizations . . . Activities . . .
