vith Our Community In the two years you have been with us, you have won the esteem and confidence of every student. Among your powers of leadership is that rare one of faith in the student body's willingness to follow your leadership. Here Are the Strong Link ,mehr Mr. McQuilki11, our Superintendent of Schoolsg Mr. Qwens, our City Manager, and Mr. Smith, Chairman of the School Board, are seen here getting their heads to- gether on the School Bond Issue. Through men of such calibre as these, looking to the future of Roanoke and working for 'the improvement of educational facilities in the city, We get our contact with the present generation of city fathers. These men are indeed 'istrong links, depended upon by both city and school to settle issues which will determine the preparedness of tomorroW's civic leaders. Good citi- zenship has need to be grateful to such a group as this one. +24 1215?

All roads lead to the Activities Office where the business arrangements for athletic, educational, and cultural events that take place in the high school are made. Classroom textbooks, lost and found articles, school supplies, and Senior dues are administered in this office. Keeping up with the many activities at Jefferson is no small feat, yet Mr. Fisher is always in control of the situation. +!l14fll' S VE Tor- Row: f. N.
