Choosing our own leaders is an important part of school and community citizenship. . . The final moments of an election, when the votes are counted, see a new group of class or student government officers selected by their fellow students . . . an outstanding example of training for a democracy. In our present global condition one of our hopes is in the right of selecting our leaders in a free election.
