They went northwest to the tall woods, And to Kootenai, On to the Going-to-the-sung To the mountains called Olympia. To the river called Columbia, To dew and mist and roses. And they were proud and high. When the Western pioneers reached the last summit overlooking the Pacijic, they realized they had gone as far as was possible on this continent. Before them lay a vast, unexplored ocean. Likewise, when the student at jejerson has com- pleted his senior year, he has advanced as far as fejerson can take him. just as those early travelers desired to settle down and enjoy the fumllment of their long quest, so many fejites, after graduation, will be eager to begin using the scholastic knowledge they have gained. However, as also many pioneers retained their ex- ploring fever and set out to conquer the ocean as they had conquered the continent, so many fejerson students will continue their exploration of knowledge by going on to college. Nevertheless, whatever be their course, fejerson has fubilled its mission. The rest is up to the students.
