Shows given during half-time at football games were the best that the football fans have ever experienced. The Christmas Show at Greenville St. Michaels was tops with the spectators. A Marching Band Revue at Wen- ner Field in Ashtabula and a political rally at Jefferson High School were two of the extra events the band attended. A Pep Band composed of a few from each section of the Senior Band provided rousing marches for our pep assemblies. During the basketball season the band played at the dedication of Platt R Spencers new gym and at the Jefferson Edgewood game The Winter Concert, February 3, started the concert season. On March 21. the Harbor High School Band spent the day as our guests. There were practice sessions in the morning and afternoon. That evening the combined 135- piecf. band. under the direction of Mr. Walker. gave a concert. A military ball held after the concert put the finishing touches on a very musical and enjoyable day. The Band also went to the District Contest at McDonald on March 28, There were many activities that the Band participated in. and as usual. came out on the top.
