UNDERCLASSES. '? .4 X ff! Steerage Passengers Lower decks to steerageneveryone rates a place in the sun on the Good Ship jefferson. It's a gay cruise ship, democratic, a whirlwind of fun and laughter. Everyone pitches in to help with the work, too. When the tidal waves meant to engulf us, the lower decks took over and fought the tides of us. Without their help our ship would have floundered, listing with discouragement.
