It Isn't On any typical day at Jeffers the boys have pushed the girls into the background, where girls belong. At times, for the sake of com- petition, the true rulers let the girls think they-have the ability to make decisions. Hard days of loafing around the water fountain take their tollg and a couple hand- fuls of aspirin are necessary to soothe tired male brains. New Club is added to our school. Seniors, don 't let excess worries make you tense and irritable! Another day has come to an end.

Senior girls invade Manual Arts Department. Johnny is only a 2 Dab man! The Anatomy of John Blom, The Way The trend today is toward a feminine-ruled society. This is very evident in our school where girls dominate every scene with their intellectual and persuasive powers. The de- feated boys finally decided to drop out of the raceg thus, becoming mere slaves to the more dominant sex. ' 20

Senior Honors Mrs. Horton - Adivsor, Susan Tolonen - President, Pat Rozich - Vice-President, Patty Kamppinen - Secretary, John Blom - Treasurer, Mr. Davis - Advisor. BOYS' STATE REPRESENTATIVE One of the highlights of my years in high school was being chosen as one of the representatives from our school to Wolverine Boys' State. I feel this experience helped me greatly in developing a 'broader knowledge of governmental operations. I know that I will always remember' this incident. John Blom CARD SALE CHAIRMEN One of the main money-making projects of the senior class is the sale of Christmas cards. The students first take orders and then deliver the items to the customers. It requires a lot of time and effort but the re- wards are great. The class thanks Ann Juntikka and Karen Karppinen for a job well done.
