Class History In the fall of 1959, sixty-six eager Freshmen entered Jeffers High School. The class elected the following officers: President, Barbara Laitilag Vice-President, Evald Salmig Secretary, Carole Kai- poneng and Treasurer, Julie Baima. Mrs. Redeker and Mr. Erva were elected advisors. Money mak- ing projects started with the sale of candy at basketball games, the selling of name labels, with Lloyd Lantto as the highest salesmang and a few candy sales. The girls of the class won the soccer game in the intramurals held that year for the first time. Our Sophomore year began with the following executives: President, Maria Mustoneng Vice-Pres- ident, Rita Lindenfang Secretary, Carole Kaiponeng Treasurer, Julie Baima. With the aid of Mrs. Redeker and Mr. Erva, we initiated the Freshmen. Our projects were a Christmas Dance, the sale of light bulbs, bake sales, and a car wash. The girls of the class again won the soccer game in the in- tramurals. Our Junior year saw fifty of us eagerly awaiting the Dinner Dance with the theme SAYONARA. To further our funds, we sold magazine subscriptions, with Maria Vezzetti as our highest saleswoman, and had a few pie sales. Our class was led by President, Mildred Rautiog Vice-President, Maria Vez- zettig Secretary, Carole Kaiponeng Treasurer, Julie Baima. Mrs. Erva and Mr. Bosley were our advisors. At last we attained the ultimate goal. As seniors we elected these officers: President-, Maria Mustoneng Vice-President, Margaret Metsag Secretary, Carole Kaiponen, and Treasurer, Julie Baima.
