A contract with a record company so everyone can hear you sing. Some water wings to further your naval career. You might forget how to swim. A sad poem - maybe this can stop the giggles. A book of jokes - maybe it will give you something to laugh at when Marian's not around. A bus so you can take all your friends to the Teen Center. We all know that Charlie loves schoolg so here is a scholar- ship to further his education at Book Worms College. Here's a B for the brain. Now no all A's. A book of exercises - MARIORlE'S MIGHTY MAGIC for girls in your Phy. Ed. class. CLASS PROPHECY There it was, 1970, and I was anxiously waiting at the Municipal Airport in San Francisco for my flight, which would take me to our 10th annual class reunion at the Jeffers High School in Painesdale, Michigan. Suddenly there was a call over the loud speaker for Capt. JAMES LAHTI who is now a pilot for the United Air Lines. As I boarded the plane, I was surprised to learn that KAREN SHEBUSKI was the head stewardess. Upon being seated I found my traveling companion was KATHY STEMBERGER, now a famed artist who had just flown in from an art exhibition in Vienna. Seated near her was PATRICIA LASSILA who had just flown in from a fashion show in Honolulu. She is now one of the top fashion designers. Then at the reunion I learned about my other class mates:

Reducing pills - we heard you were putting on too much weight. A travel folder of someone who loves to travel. A pair of scissors - essential to the opening of your own beauty salon. A rubber ball to put bounce into your step. A passport to the beautiful Swiss Alps for an uninterrupted month of skiing. Money for gas - we heard you were getting low on cash because of all the trips to town. A book of horror stories to keep your hair standing on end. A key. Find the door to which it belongs and open the dress shop you've always wanted. A contract to write a weekly column in the GAZETTE giving all your ideas on good grooming. A car so you won't have to take your Dad's. A bowling pin - maybe this will get you started on an alley for yourself. Then you can hire female pin setters - won't that be nice for a change? A car - see if you can put a truck motor in this. Cleats, for someone we seldom hear. An unbreakable flask for your advanced work in chemistry. A Ford convertible - now you won't have to work this sum- mer, you can flit about.

IRENE KANGAS was unable to attend the reunion as she is now residing on the moon following her completion of a space rocket. We always knew she had high goals. KAREN WAINIO and MARILYN KERANEN are owners of a very widely known beauty salon in Hollywood, California, specializing in Beatnik hairdo's. MILTON POLSO is now head ofWolfram - Germaniun - Boron - Krypton - Cadm- ium Chemical Plant. We thought he had his share of chemistry in high school. MARIAN VERRAN is now head of the Super Duper Dubble Bubble Gum Corp. in Timbuctoo. We always knew there was a reason for all that jaw wagging. MELVIN KORPI has acquired his drivers license and is now the head chauffeur for Jayne Mansfield. We always suspected that he had an eye for blondes. DIANNE HEIKKINEN is now residing on a ranch in Tapiola. ALEX GEBORKOFF is now starring in the latest Broadway hit, Follow Me Girls. His stage name is Romeo and he is still fascinating all the females. MARIORIE YLITALO is now a cashier at the South Range State Bank. She always did like the feel of dough! TOM GEBORKOFF earns his living as a professional hockey player and recently decided to marry and raise a hockey team of his own! JOAN MAKI is now one of the proprietors of Ioan and Paul's Bakery Shop in China, specializing in fortune cookies. EDWARD HAGWELL after mastering the art of understanding poetry has taken over Mr. Hills' position as English Teacher at I, H, S. LUANN WISTI is accompanist to KEITH BLOM, a famous tenor at the Metropolitan Opera. She plays the piano while he sings. They both got their start at I. H. S, DELORES CHINN is employed as private secretary to Fabian! Now she will be able to use her speed as a typist in answering all his fan mail. FRED RAFFAELLI is the proud father of twin girls, Patsy and Deene. Incidentally, he married neither of his high school sweethearts. ALBERTA DOLAN is now doing missionary work in Darkest Africa. I wonder how she stays awake in all the heat. RAYMOND BERTOLLI was elected Handy Man of the nation because of his painting ability. His most recent job was painting and cleaning the Empire State Building. LAURIAN IUNTTONEN is famous in Disneyland, for her depicting of laughing, giggling and goofy faces. She keeps all the kiddies in stitches. IACK KOSKELA is now an executive in the Ford Company. He acquired that position because of his ability to change the design of the '55 Ford. GEN NAASKO is now giving assembly programs in schools on, How to Overcome Shyness. Imagine her unafraid of facing an audience. RAYMOND SILTALA is head of Chicken Farms Incorporated. We always knew he wanted to have a brood of his own. GRACE SIPOLA, who was always the domestic type, has finally decided to try marriage. We wish her the best of luck. CAROLYN ANDREWS proved that a wife and mother can appreciate education - she has received a Bachelor of Science degree from the U. of M.
