19 78 Bulldog Dedicated to jan Davis jay Elementary School l like to turn out students who can cope with life today, and to encourage students to work to the best of their ability. With this teaching philosophy, Mrs. Davis has spent twenty-one years in the field of Special Education, fourteen which have been in the lay School System. lan currently works with students in the Education of the Mentally Handi- capped Program. The purpose of this pro- gram is to try to get students to hold some kind of job, to be able to read the newspaper, to be able to fill out a job application, to know arithmetic so they can figure and count, and to get along in life. lan holds a B. S. from the University of Missouri and a Masters Degree in Special Education from the University of Tulsa.
