1975 BULLDOG Dedzcated to the Memory of' Hubert Spencer Hubert Spencer gave twelve years ofhis life to the upkeep ofjay Schools. Beginning in 1963, Hubert kept the tires burning and the classrooms in order. ln fulfilling his du- ties, Hubert always had a smile for teachers and students who kept paper and black marks off the tloorg and for those who didn't, Hubert always said, 'Tm here because of the students and teachers and not in spite ofthemf, Hubert loved to visit with students and teachers. His lavorite subjects were his beagle dogs and gigging with his sons, Archie, 1958 Jay graduateg Lee, 1961g Harold, 1965g and Daryle, 1968. Hubert will be missed. In his memory, we quote a portion of his favorite scripture, Psalms 121: 1 will lift up mine eyes unto the hills, from whence cometh my help. My help cometh from the Lord, which made heaven and earth. . . The Lord is thy keeperg the Lord is thy shade upon thy right hand. The sun shall preserve thee from all evilg he shall preserve thy soul. 3

He is not banished, though, for this,-Nor he, nor sad- ness, nor delight. Though we shall talk with him no more, A low voice sounds upon the shore.
