PRESIDENT: Nancy Dykes VICE-PRESIDENT: Raymond Postoak SECRETARY: Gaye Smith REPORTER: Junene Leavell ,lay School Faculty experienced anxiety oftests, grade cards, Back-to-School Nightf' teacher's meetings, and evalua- tions-but teachers could not transmit knowledge to any stu- dent unless he desired it, and no class was broad enough to contain the limits of knowledge that might conceivably be sought. We will not soon forget the pies in the face, the homeroom schedule, OEA Conventions, seeking out a classroom in one end ofthe hall for 35 students, paying 3754-9 in dues, looking for ways to order that S515 ball point pen, uspicedi' brownies, dis- appearing grade books, and cans of air freshner. But who can forget the operettas that are so darling to put on, working con- cessions and ticket gates at varsity ballgames, sponsoring those class and activity trips, hall duty, morning duty, gate duty, and last but not least, SMOKE IN THE LOUNGE.
