The Mk l5 Close-in Weapons System and MK 75 Rapid Fire Gun provide secondary anti-air capability. Ships of this class are often referred to as FFG-7 tpronounced FlG-75 after the lead ship, U.S.S. Oliver Hazard Perry CFFG-7j.
