DEPARTMENT OF THE NAVY US5JARRETT(FFG33) FPOAP 96669-1489 IN REPLY HEfERTO 25 April 1995 Dear JARRETT shipmate, Today marks our return home following a shared six month- long adventure overseas. We should be proud of JARRETT ' s many accomplishments, too numerous to catalogue, that you made happen in support of our nation and its interests. You did your duty professionally, you did it with style, you did it safely and you had fun. Now that it is over, JARRETT ' s PACMEF 94-95 is a matter of memory. I hope this book serves to remind you of the countless things we in JARRETT did and shared while on deployment and of the places we visited. Most off all, I hope you are reminded of the unique camaraderie that is the special bond between those of us who go down to sea in ships, a bond that is especially strong in JARRETT. This book will have served its purpose, when, in years to come, it makes you puff-up your chest a bit and brings a smile to your face.
