Last OM and Sestament We, the Seniors of Jarratt High School, being of sound mind and happy heart, do hereby bequeath the follow- ing things to the Juniors of 1964, and to the faculty. To Freddy Briley we leave a lifetime membership on the Parker Pen Company Official Board and 5 little future basketball stars like their father. To Joan Edwards we leave the power to create lots of noise next year at basketball games. To Joan Hall we leave a boy who looks like Napoleon and permission not to have to wear her glasses, To Donnie Harrell we leave an acclaimed audience to view his compositions on Broadway and Carnegie Hall. To Frances Harrell we leave a golden castle in which to live happily ever after with her Sir Richard , To Tommy Horne we leave the hope of Field -ing a Win -ning team next year and a pair of Boots to keep his feel warm on the bus rides. To Lawrence Jarratt we leave a 1967 Super-Sport Dragster with which to burn the tracks at Daytona. To Ann Lyzotte we leave a year's supply of gasoline for George and the hope of landing a lucky passenger soon. To Charles Lee O'Berry we leave the position of chairman of Berry, Inc., makers of huckleberry and blueberry jelly. To Frankie Pennington we leave Full -er time with which to study and dream of the days ahead as an “aide ™ to General Hugh . To Boots Winfield we leave a set of Hornes to play when Tommy is not around. To Ann Woodruff we leave the wish that all her dreams will come true with her beau . To Irene Zimmerman we leave a place on first team next year to help replace the winning team we had this year. To Mr. Semones we leave the honor of having us as the first senior class over which he was principal at Jarratt High School. To Mr. Kimberlin we leave complete control over TVA, To Mrs, Ricketts we leave our appreciation for helping us with our senior play and lots of luck with next year's basketball team. To Mrs, Holloway we leave permission to look behind the Scroll of Honor and make our secret known to the world. To Mrs, Saunders we leave our thanks for helping us with our edition of THE BUILDERS and permission to show off her new typing skills whenever she has a chance. To Mrs, Leonard we leave a compact do-it-yourself Junior=Senior Prom, that will satisfy every member of her next Junior Class. To Miss Rideout we leave a supply of typewriter ribbons so she can see what her students are typing. To Mrs, Rose we leave a glee club full of joyful, singing seniors. To Miss Dawson we leave two tickets to France to use for her honeymoon, To Mrs, Barnes we leave one left-over, 1962-63, fifth period, study hall. To Mrs, Bach and Mrs, Richardson we leave our gratitude for even trying to please. 28
