Spofzsor: F.F.A. l Z the basic fundamentals of overhauling a motor. The program of the Vocational Agriculture Department at James Wood is divided into three groups - the in-school students, all day studentsg young farmers, those starting to farmg and the adult farmers, those established in farming. This Deparment conducts classroom, farm mechanics, and supervised farming programs as part of the students training. Through F.F.A. they receive training in leadership, co-operation, and community service.

DN THE SPCT TRAINING THROUGH INDUSTRIAL ARTS The Industrial Arts Department is divided into three fields. They are: In- dustrial Arts I, Industrial Arts II, and Mechanical Drawing. Mr. Workmm helps Ronnie Keiter solve a problem in Mechanical Drawing. Mr. Glen O. Workman University of Maryland Degree - B.S. Sponxor: Pee Wee Football The boys listen intently as Mr. Workman shows the different parts of the saw. In Industrial Arts I the boys learn the basic uses of hand-working tools. In Industrial Arts II the boys learn some advanced mechanical drawing tech-- niques and how to read blueprints and drawings. Mechanical Drawing requires that the boys learn to become familiar with some of the industries within which drafting is applied.
