MEN AND BOY Through the years the athletic depart- ment has provided an intramural basketball program for non-participation in Varsity BAND - Robert Lofton, Fred Williston, Dickie Stockdale, Mr. Connor, Gary Lofton, Garland Good, Tommy Sheetz, Vaughn Twigg, Dennis Sours, Dennis Wingfield, Hugh Barton, Richard Nagley. competition. Seven clubs and the men teachers have entered a team this season in order to march their skills with those of the other reams. KEY CLUB - Roger Snapp, Mr. Funkhouser, Butch Patterson, Don Martin, Chuck Duvall, Doug Martin, Maynard Grove, Larry Gregory. LATIN CLUB - Ray McKee, Ronald Broom- back, Richard Allanson, Mr. Monraros, Joe Cheshire, Eddy Snider, Richard Winrerstine, William Alexander, Jerald Walkins, Marv Grif- fith, Terry Bowers, Ronald Holtzman, Ihrl Four. ROW events during the last few years with many fine players developing during this time. Most every season has pro- duced a winning record which James Wood can be proud of. Although the record speaks for itself, james Wood discontinued Baseball at the end of the last school year due to several reasons. THREE: G. Sale, J. Hockman, J. Prosser, R. Keeler, J. Dorsey, B. Hill. ROW FOUR: G. Parker, B. Carter, T. Reed, D. Russell, B. Michael. during the busiest time of the year, spring. Many games have been washed out because of rain and baseball here does not draw a sufficient number of fans to at least pay the expenses of the team. With all of these difficulties, baseball had to be dropped from the list of sports here. 191
