ADMINISTRATION AND SCHOOL EXECUTIVE Mr. Wright and Mr. Hutton discuss tests statistics. Mr. Robert Aylor, the Superintendent, of Frederick County Schools, is well-known among the faculty and stu- dents of our school for the part he has played in the educa- tional program of Frederick County throughout the years. He frequently visits the various schools to meet with the school administrators to discuss classroom policies and ways of improving the total school program. He is also in charge of transportation and maintenance. The Frederick County School Board ttf, The Frederick County School Board offers guidance and direction to the administration and operation of schools throughout Frederick County. The Board Members dis- cuss ways and means of operating schools and establishing schools policies during their monthly meetings. Mr. Aylor pauses in the midst of his daily duties. s X. Z Q La Mr. Melton Wright , Director of Instruction Mr. Wright is responsible for the instructional program in all of the schools in Frederick County. He works with principals and teachers to improve the quality of instruction in our schools. Some of his duties are: planning workshops and extension classes for teachers, selecting new textbooks, visiting teachers in their classrooms, investigating new ideas and techniques in education and introducing and experiment- ing with some of these innovations with other members of the administrative and teaching staff. Mr. James V. Hutton Testing Coordinator and Elementary Supervisor Mr. Hutton plans and directs the testing program in all of the schools in Frederick County. As a part of his responsi- bilities, he conducts studies of test results and interprets these results for principals, teachers, parents, and students.
