THE ROAD TO GOOD HEALTH Each year our Nurse's Club, in cooperation with the doctors and dentists of Wfinchester, sponsor a clinic for all students attending james Wood. The students are weighed and measured in order to determine any abnormalities or serious deficien- cies. Their eyes and ears are also checked so that any defects might be found and corrected. We feel that by stressing good physical health and clean living here in high school, the young people are more likely to secure better health and greater ability, both physically and mentally, in later life. Mrs. Zuckerman, out school nurse, carefully checks Betty Rotruclcs teeth for any decays or irregular conditions. Bob Carter is weighed and measured by cl future nurse, Kay Kipps. Kay Kipps continues to weigh and measure as she learns the fundamentals of a good nurse. 209
