THAT PROVIDES A BACKGROUND IN LITERATURE Miss Davitlson is showing the structure of Shakespearean Theater, while Mrs. Collett goes over an article written about Shakespeare. Mrs. Hovermale is showing the Moroccos to Bill Trentum while Mr. Hootman explains this plate as the duel of the Gladiators to Charles Triplett. Since all students must have five credits in English in order to graduate from high school, the English Department is the largest at james Wood. Training in speaking, reading, writing. listening, and thinking are the goals of the department. Many students have taken art, and through their training have been able to keep the school more attractive by making interesting posters concerning activities of clubs, assembly and plays.
