MU ALPHA THETA The Mu Alpha Theta Club is a local chapter of the National High School and junior College Mathematics Club. The members are students who take a college preparatory mathematics course and who maintain a B average in the course. At each monthly meeting a movie and report are given on the culture and back- ground of different Spanish speaking countries chosen by the club. Their financial project is the selling of candy. The social activities are a banquet and dance and a picnic at the end of the year. Each year rt medal is given to a first year member and a second year member of the Spanish Club.
