VARIETY IS THE SPICE OF LIFE The line routine for the Variety Show rehearses with plenty of pep and rhythm. 152 Costumes for the Variety Show are chosen, adjusted, and fitted. Each year the james Wood Journalism staff writes, prints, and sell out school news- paper, The Woodpost. This, in itself is a big jobg but through careful planning and preparations the staff has also succeeded in putting on a great, old fashioned Variety Show. The show consisted of dancing such as the Charleston and the waltz, singing, and many types of typical old time entertainment. Smooth and easy are the by-words for rehearsal of the waltz.

Mr. James Biddle Spofuof Through many long hours of work the staff, completed the largest yearbook in the history of james XVood. Wforking one hour each day during the school week, the staff completed what we believe to be the best book in the history of the school. Over eight hundred books were sold, which was a new high in cir- culation. The members of the james Wood Woodbine Staff hope this yeat's edition of the yearbook will bring the school story to the stu- dents and better acquaint them with the school.
