Good physical stability is stressed and discussed as the seventh graders pre- pare their new health project. Eighth graders meet and enjoy the friendship of their new classmates at their first Get Acquainted Dance. SEVENTH D EIGHTH GR DE ACTIVITIES Miss Cunningham helps the eighth grade officers make plans for their future days and experiences at james Wootl. The youngest class in our school, strange and afraid, shy within the great mass of upperclassmen, eager to learn within the classroom-this is our seventh grade. This year they began their many new and varied activities amid the hum and buzz of a great school. One such activity was their health project in which they all worked together to stress physical, mental, and spiritual well-being. James Wfoodls eighth grade for l960-61 has proven to be the largest class ever'to enter our high school. Yet with the fine help of their sponsors, Miss Cunningham and Mr. Carroll, the class has organized themselves to a fine degree and has found great success in this planned organization. As they attended their first Get Acquainted Dance in September they came to know and understand each other. Later in the year, they pooled their resources again and had a fine cupcake sale. We all feel that the class of I65 will, through the next four years, prove very successful and very praiseworthy.
