At the beginning of the year james Wood had two bands besides the Concert Band. These were the beginning band comprising those students who had not had musical training before and a junior band-those students which had had some musical training. Both bands meet five times weekly for class instruction and each member is scheduled for one private lesson per week. The picture above is of the two bands at the beginning of the year.
