The james Wood Boys' Bowling League was organized on November 1, 1950. At this date there were 23 mem' bers which comprise the present 6 teams. Donnie Anderson was elected to serve as President, Warren Thompson as Secref tary, and Vic Crim as Treasurer. The teams bowl Wednesday afternoon of each week with each team bowling 3 games, The teams' names were patterned after automobiles. Mr. Dan Colaw and Mr. Don Perrault volunteered to serve as sponsors. The girls' afternoon Bowling Club was organized in September. The club is composed of 50 members who belong to one of the 10 teams which have animal names. At the end of the bowling season, trophies will be awarded to the person with the highest individual average, set and game.
