Minnie Russell and Carolyn Solenberger are really up in the air these days. Both are airline hostesses. Tommy Reardon was catcher in the World Series games which were held recently at the Rouss Ball Park. Several people of the class of '51 are teaching at james Wood. Ann Mongon is Physical Ed. Instructor, Margaret Brumback is teaching Home Economics, and Jean Marple teaches bookkeeping. Jerry White and Graham Teets have founded a home in Frederick County for old men. They call it Bachelors Blockhousef' 1 Bill Bailey is now a Senator in Washingtong not politics, but baseballg he is pitcher for the Washington Senators baseball club. Mary Hermanson is a nationally known singer. Her theme song is My Buddy. Nancy Lee Cather, Jane Grim, Betty Ann Whitacre, and Wilma Ferrell, besides being busy housewives, are active members of the How to Raise Fourteen and Still Look Young Club. There is a new version of Math since Ellen Rivers is teaching that subject at James Wood. The students think 2 and 2 make 22. Ray Hines is owner of the Capitol Theater. He has three little ushers to help him. Emmogene Omps, June Luttrell, and Ruth Rinker are all government secretaries in Washington. All three still retain their love for skating. Pat Swink finally received her one-way ticket to Minnesota. If someone changes Pat's mind, she will go to Hawaii. Barbara Wolfe is a very successful homemaker. She always did claim they were cheaper by the dozen. Victor Crim has given up his career of riding a ship on the high seas in favor of riding a tractor on the farm. Hazel Barham, Sarah Marks, and Gladys Lamp are the chief operators at the Winchester Telephone Office. They supervise fifty other operators. Rosa Lee Hendricks is a grand up-roar singer at the Winchester Municipal Opera House. Helen Newcome is a makefup artist at 20th Century Fox Studios in Hollywood. Bucky Singhass, who held several important positions, still holds his original position as the only remaining bachelor of the class of '51. Shirley Peoples is secretary to the manager of the A E? P chain stores. She still has her old habit of teasing members of the opposite sex. Jo Ann Wilson has resigned teaching Home Economics in order to devote all of her time to that lucky Sailor. Donald Luttrell is manager of the A Es? P chain stores in Winchester. Charles Hoak is court reporter for the Winchester Juvenile Court. Jimmy Hammock is owner of the largest garage in the Pinehills. Paul Strawderman is the last person in the world who will let you down-he is an undertaker. Warren Thompson is a professor of Agriculture at V. P. I. Virginia Shifllet, who is a famous novelist, has just Hnished her sensational new book All About Adam. Delmer DeHaven is still in the Navy and captain of the big ship Lazy Bones. Mae Snyder and Lois White are lap secretaries at the American Viscose Corporation. Donnie Anderson is a big executive of the International Harvester Company with a desk for each foot.
