To Miss Clara Louise Wright, onetime President of the Texas League of Nursing Education, we wish to express with all our hearts our appreciation for her. She was an example of our profession with influenced us and made us what we are today. Miss Wright first came to james Walker as director of Nurses on july 1, 1944, and was loved and honored by everyone After resigning on September 5, 1946, she returned to New jersey, where after 1 long illness she passed away April 13, 1947. the highest honors and awards. Clie Cipiiome 1949 IN LUVHNG MEMURY W. HOUSTON MOORE, M. D. Dr. W. Houston Moore was born August 30, 1880. A well known and beloved physician who spent most of his medical career as an obstetrician. When his health failed, five years prior to his death, he specialized in dermotology. For seven years he served on the State Board of Medical Examiners of North Carolina. He was also a member of the American Medical Association and the New Hanover Medical Society. His hobby and greatest outside interest was Greenfield Park, and the annual Azalea Festival. After finishing his service to God and man, quietly and peacefully he slipped away on July 13, I948.
