The Division of Humanities The departments of Art, English Language, Literature, Speech, Foreign Languages, Music and Philosophy make up the Division of Humanities. Majors are offered in each department except philosophy. The courses in this division fulfill the basic requirements in General Education, lead to degrees of Bachelor of Arts or Bachelor of Arts in Education, serve as electives in all curricular and provide majors or con- centrations in the liberal arts subjects for those who are preparing to become teachers.
