Under The leadership oT Jack BariTeau, a winner oT boTh semesTer elecTions, The sophomore class led The school in almosT all acTiviTies in The Homecom- ing TesTiviTies, The Soph TloaT Can The KiTTens Took second place and The sophomores have been vicTorious in The maioriTy oT spiriT rallies. In probably The mosT successful oT all The rallies, The sophomores capTured The TiTle in The GreaT Pie EaTing ConTesT. The Class oT '67 also parTicipaTed in The many oTher school acTiviTies available in January. Sophomores wenT To see cinerama in San Francisco. They Then seT ouT To make The Frosh-Soph dance Midsummer NighT's Dream a success. ln addiTion To This, The sophomores Tinally picked ouT Their disTincTive class rings and successfully parTicipaTed in The Comef Games. Academically, The sophomore class was Well repre- senTed by many scholars who made The C.S.F. honor roll and The principal's B honor roll. JusT a Tevv of The many noTables included Joyce Davis, Bob Nyberg, Sarah GareTz, Carol Heisey, Donna Lickwar, and AsTrid Olsson. Aside from being The pop class in spiriT, The sopho- mores kepT pace aThleTically. In aThleTics Eddie Hughes Robin Donald wins pie-eafing eve-nT for sophomore class in big upseT vicTory over upperclassmen. was chosen All MHAL and The league's MosT Valuable Player in TooTbaII, while Jack BariTeau and Cene Cirese were All MHAL selecTions in Frosh-Soph waTer polo wiTh Cirese being named The league's MosT Valuable Player. OTher players who disTinguished Themselves were ForresT Fezler, a mainsTay of The F-S TooTbaIl Team as well as The golf squad, Don Frease, who showed promise in TooTball, baskeTball and Track, Todd STouT, cross-counTry and varsiTy Track man.
