Head coach Bill Hughes gives batting instructions to the varsity team, rosla-Soplo Bmeball The 1965 trosh-soph baseball team defeated their tirst league opponent, Hill, 7-3 behind the pitching ot Ron Carciere and the defensive work ot intielder Rick Villavicencio. Other leading ballplayers so tar have been Randy Fannin, Alan Lewis, Steve Barton and Ron Scoppettone. Good detense and pitching seem to be the key to the team's success as hitting does not appear to be a strong point. Frosh-Soph coaches Chon Gallegos and Ron McBride go over ground rules with the umpire.
