Their overall record was 9-5. The team was not ex- perienced and is still in the process of building for The future. Wayne Reek was The team standout throughout The year. The Trosh-soph Team completely outclassed all other Teams to Take The championship with a perfect T2-O slate. Varsity 6 mth-50,019 Swimming After defeating their closest contender, Willow Glen, the T965 varsity swim team appears in good shape to take the MHAL title with a 3-O league record. Co-captains Wayne Reek and Reinhard Funck have thus far led the team. Funck is currently the best free-styler and backstroker in the league and is undefeated in competition. Reek swims all strokes and continually turns in fine performances. Other standouts are Gene Cirese, Jay Corey, Randy Hoffman, Larry Bumgardner and John Langlois. Varsity diver Barry Sheppard is also unbeaten. The frosh-soph squad is led by co-captains Tim Otto and Tom Haren, Marshall Putnam, Gary Mattos, and John Butler.
