Wresflmg New enthuslasm was shown for the wresthng program at R11s as over slxty boys competed m an ellmmatlon tourney held ln the gym durmg May Exght drvl slons were set up by Mr Bogen the wrest lmg coach wlth matches arranged for class Fmals were held at the annual Track and Fleld Day on Watson Fleld June 2nd where rlbbons were awarded to the wlnner and runners up IH each of the elght dlVlS1OHS Some of the bovs engaged ln the tournament were Roger Ketel sleger B111 Prewltt Harold Neely Chuck Jackson W1ll1am Tlllery Rlchard Albe rom Alex Zaterlan Rlchard Grlsham Joe Ward Paul Crandall and Ralph Stapf The boys put on some great and thr1ll1ng shows Although they were not as excxt mg as the pros have our own grunt and groaners showed everbody that was watch body that they could handle themselves very well Thls IS the second year that a wrestlmg tournament has been held The popular lty of the sport IS growmg wlth the staglng of each tourney Much of the success of the event IS due to the hard work of Mr Bogen boys from T15 pounds to the heavy-weight ing, which was almost the whole student
