Preceding this he was prin- cipal of ll-l.S. We regret, that with the ending of this school year, Dr. Blodgett leaves lacksonville to accept a position in another city. Much of the success of our school was due to his cooperation and effec- tive guidance. We wish to thank him for his services as a leader and a help- er, and to wish him the best of luck in the future. Miss Benscoter spent countless extra hours building the choir into top condition, her reward being the satisfaction of directing an outstanding musical organization. The choir performed many services for the community by presenting various programs for schools, church groups and organizations. The choir was one of the most active organizations in the school, constantly at work on a new program for student body or for the public. The play, written by Caroline Francke, was a hilari- ous comedy based on the situation involved in the wedding of the Banks' danghter, Kay. She was to be married before a small group of relatives in a truly simple style. She had planned for an equally simple reception to fol- low at the Banks' home. However, by the time each member of the family invited all the guests that he wanted to attend, the entire event turned into a huge, far from simple, celebration. The real crisis occurred when Kay and her sweetheart got into an argument over the simple affair . At this stage of the game, the entire event was ready to be called off. The situation finally straightened itself out and things got back to normal. The curtain fell on a happy scene giving us the feeling that they lived happily ever after . CAST Mr. Banks ....
