Through participation in the FFA, members develop leadership, and scholarship. The Jacksonville FFA plans to enter the more than 40 contests that are of- fered at the socal and state levels. In the 1980-81 school year, the Jacksonville FFA won 3rd place in the state fair with an exhibit on Energy Conserva- tion. FFA meetings are highlighted by speakers such as EMT personnel and the Jacksonville Fire Depart- ment. The FFA has participated in several projects to help beautify the school campus.
