Review of Season The Jackson High Harriers finished another excellent year with only one defeat, in a dual-meet, when Battle Creek edged the team out by one point. Jackson took the Class A state championship for the third year in a row. They also captured the 5-A championship for the third consecutive year and were awarded the trophy permanently. The Hastings and Allgion Invitational trophies were also added to the team's collection. The varsity boys did a grand iob of running and were kept on their toes by the re- serves who were constantly fighting for varsity places. Page Seventy-luvn Wx H. Miller A. Perrin, D. Hilderly, J. But there's one person in this picture who is generally oxferlooked, and it isn't until the student starts to make his way in the world that he fully appreciates how much his teacher or instructors meant to him. School teachers are mighty important people.
