Through the cooperation and effort of the Board of Education, our school keeps functioning in an orderly manner. There are five members on the board and they are all capable of handling all problems put before them. We owe a great debt of gratitude to these citizens, who give generously of their time and effort with a minimum of remuneration for their services. The Board of Education consists of: Dr. Tom Washam, President; Mrs. Mary Ellen Smith, Vice President; Mr. Willard Fitzpatrick, Clerk; Mr. Robert Laird, and Mr. Charles B. Davis. 4
