OSKY WOW - Athletics ■ n o FOOTBALL Ridgeway Crick Wort man Callahan Stewart Weston Flemington McAfee Hess Wilson Lee. Coach Garrett. Capt. Hackett, Mgr. The football rquad of 1(.)32 possess a splendid amount of material, and received ex-ce lent coaching. These factors in its favor, the team went through the entire season without a defeat, and won the championship of Southeastern Ohio. At the close of the season, they were the guests of two banquets. One given by Mr. and Mrs. H. M. Spang, and the other by the Girls’ Athletic Association, of the high school. The schedule and scores follow: j J. H. S.—45 McArthur—0 J. H. S.—31 Oak Hill—0 J. H. S.—21 New Boston—6 J. H. S.—13 Middleport—0 J. H. S.—52 Rutland—18 J. H. S.—12 Chillicothe—6 J. H. S.—59 Nelsonvil e—0 J. H. S.—32 Seiotoville—6 J. H. S.—26 Logan—0 J. H. S.—31 Wells ton—7 Each letter man received a little gold football; the symbol of champions.

Fred M.—Maxie, old boy, you’ll do just what is known as “jumping to a conclusion.” Steve—I have a picture of you in my mind all the time Annita—How small you make me feel. Helen—How dare you! Father said he’d kill the first man that ever kissed me. Freeman—And did he? Wilma—Doctor when my hand gets well will I be able to play the piano? Doc—Certainly, my dear, certainly. Wilma—Gee you’re a wonder Doc, I never could before. Class song of the physics and chemistry department “Ohm sweet Ohm.” Miss Price—Robert do you remember what happened in France in 1870? Bobby Bill—In France in 1870? Gee, whiz teacher, I can’t even remember what happened in Jackson after Junior and Senior, 1933. Paul Miller—You know you can’t convict a deaf man in court? George Crick—No, why not? P. M —The law says you can’t convict a man without a hearing. Chink G.—You know Anne you have such dreamy eyes. Ann P.—No wonder, look at the clock. Waldo D —Whose that man over there ? Joe S.—That’s Mr. Jones, the dynamo manufacturer. W. D.—Well, more power to him. John S —That tune haunts me so. Miss Sche’lenger—No wonder, you murder it so much. Ada Ruth—This liniment makes my arm sm rt. Jean S.—Will, why not rub some on your head ? Mary Ellen as she regained consciousness —Am I in heaven? Fiank Stevens—No dear, I am still with you. Mrs Matthews—There’s an old clothes man at the door. Ed. M.—Tell him I’ve got all I need. Judge W. Fitzpatrick—to dentist—Do you swear to pull the tooth, the whole tooth and nothing but the tooth? Betty Scott—George do you see that beautiful beech tree over there? If it could speak I wonder what it would say? George R.—It would probably say, “Excuse me Betty, but with all due respect to you, I’m an oak tree. Bob P.—I asked her for a kiss, without avail. Jake Coffman—Yea, I don’t like to kiss through those things either. Ruth L.—Have you seen her engagement ring? Smittie—Seen it? Why I wore it all last year. Herb has his B. A. and his M. A., but he’s still living off his P. A. Only one thing saves you from being a bareface liar. What’s that? Your mustache. Flip—Do you inhale cigarettes? P. H.—No, only the smoke. Bob—Were you nervous when you asked for a kiss? Art—No, I was calm and collected. Here lies the body Of HanibM Bloo He would have lived If he’d stuck to 3.2. C nductor—Your fare? Carrie Ray—Thank you. Chunk W’s theme song—Last nite T slept in a boudoir, boudoir shall I sleep to-nite. Bob Wortman—Doesn't this dance make you long for another?
