OSKY WOW - Clubs THE CHEMISTRY CLUB President—Garnald McAfee Secretary—Bill Flemington Treasurer—John Stewart. The Chemistry Club consists of those students who undertook the study of chemistry. This club is sponsored by the proficient instructor, Mr. Hune. The meetings were for the purpose of gaining outside information concerning chemistry. Experiments were performed (avoiding explosions) by members of the club. Other features of the programs were in the form of music, recitations, etc. . A. C. Club President—Bill Flemington Secretary—Elmore Williams Vice-President—Ora Garrett Treasurer—Frank Stevens The I. A. C. Club, for boys only, is the oldest club in the history of the High School. Meetings are held once a month and the time is spent in playing games and having a good time. The outstanding event of the year for this club is the I. A. Cv banquet which is looked forward to by many of the girls as well as members of the club. The I. A. C. Club is under the efficient supervision of Mr. Russell Jones.

OSKY WOW - Clubs HI-Y CLUB President-Freeman Jones Secretary—Loel Callahan Vice-President—Max Walker Treasurer—George Ridgeway The purpose of the Hi-Y is to create, ma:” tain and extend throughout the school and community high standards of Christian character. The meetings are held regularly every Tuesday evening at 7:00. This club was organized eight years ago by Mr. Keeler, the present advisor. GIRL RESERVE CLUB President—Florence Harper Treasurer—Marjory Harrison This has been a very successful year in the Girl Reserve Club. Its membership reached a total of fifty-one girls. Meetings were held on the second and fourth Tuesday of each month. At one meeting, observing the annual custom, the Hi-Y C ub was the guest of the Girl Reserve Club and had charge of the program. Every program was intended to be different in order to hold the interest of the club members. The outstanding social event was the Mother and Daughter Tea on April 22. The club was organized in 1927, by Miss Sargent, the present advisor of the club.

OSKY WOW - Dramatics SENIOR PLAY CAST “GREEN STOCKINGS” The annual Senior Class Play presented by an excellent cast Friday evening, May 5, W3S a success from every standpoint. The plot revived around the efforts of the family to secure a husband for Celia (Imogene Jacobs) and the part she unwittingly played toward the same end. The entire cast displayed marked dramatic ability. McAfee Mil'er Walker Jenkins Peters Mathews Jones Scurlock Ray Smith Harper Jacobs Chapman THE DRAMATIC CLUB President—Alice Weed Treasurer—George Crick Membership in the Dramatic Club is determined by try-outs. The programs were unusually interesting this year. Reports on the lives of great actors and actresses were made. Several skits composed of members of the Dramatic Club were presented. During the latter part of the meetings, various games were enjoyed by all.
