AIYUKPA IQ5O The Banquet The Senior class of 1950 was entertained at the annual Junior- Senior Banquet, held April 24th, in the North Park Community Church. Decorations in green and gold carried out the Ullalf Century theme. Class pins were given as favors. llour glasses and flowers made lovely centerpieces. The president of the Junior class, Judy Goemmel, gave the welcome. Duane Ilampton, Senior president, gave the response to the welcome. The rest of the evening's entertainment was carried forth by Charles Eaton, toastmaster. After the banquet, the honored guests were treated to a movie at the Park Theatre. The menu was as follows: Cocktail Jello Salad Roast Turkey and Dressing Cranberry Sauce Whipped Potatoes and Gravy Creamed Peas with Mushrooms Hot Rolls and Butter lee Cream Cake And the Tea The annual Sophomore Tea, given for the Class of '50 by the Class of 752, was held at the North Park Community Church par- lor May 14th. The Sophomores were dressed in formal attire as they greeted each guest at the door and presented the ladies with eorsages ot' yellow roses and the men with yellow rose boutonnieres. The theme was carried out in the Senior colors, green and gold, and the Wives of the members of the school board presided at the tea tables. PAGE 23
