Junior Civitans is a service organization which engages in projects to help the community and fellow man. This year the club had a homecoming float and a float in the All-Volunteer Christmas Parade which received an award from the Lakewood Civitans. Junior Civitans sponsored Patriotism Week at school and sponsored a Dance Marathon. They also participated in a Dance Marathon with all of North Alabama Junior Civitans for the National Association for Retarded Citizens. The club also rang bells for the Salvation Army at Christmas. 277
