Honi aco mino 1976 The Johnson Jaguars and the Cirissom Tigers competed in this city’s first, double Homecoming game on October 22, 1976. The enthusiastic Jaguar supporters packed the home team stands to urge the Jaguars on to a 8-0 victory. Johnson’s halftime activities included the parade of floats and the presentation of the Queen and her court. The Junior class won first place for their float depicting the theme Past, Present, and Future.” The 1976 Homecoming Queen, chosen by popular vote, was Miss Belinda Wherry, accompanied by Mr. Larry Clemons. Other homecoming activities included the Dance, Ticket Contest, won by the Senior Class, and the flower sales. The Homecoming Dance was held on October 23 in the cafeteria.
