Johnson High Drama Presents Reader's Theatre The Johnson High Drama's first production fol- lowed a new format. Instead of traditional theatre a new style known as reader’s theatre was used. The performers in SPOON RIVER ANTHOLOGY spoke from platforms using small props and slides to tell their life story, in GOD’S TROMBONES several Negro spirituals were presented. Students Exhibit Talents The second annual Johnson Talent Show, sponsored by the Choral Depart- ment, was held November 7, 1974 in the auditorium. Each of 13 contestants presented a three minute act. Five judges scored contestants on talent, originality, and presentation of act. A large audience cheered the judge's decision of first place winner, impres- sionist Robert McCluskey.
