FOREWORD Nothing can be achieved when no effort is put forth. The extent of the effort determines the degree of its success. In this day and age, the youth realize they must prepare themselves for the future beginning even now. Theodore Rooseve lt vividly illustrates this point: “Far better it is to dare mighty things, to win glorious triumphs, even though checkered by failure, than to take rank with those poor spirits who neither enjoy much nor suffer much, because they live in the gray twilight that knows not victory nor defeat.” Besides school work and sometimes out- side jobs, Rose High students are forever engaged in many activities, including those of the clubs, the band, sports, cheerleaders, and majorettes. They are always active, always on the go. For this reason, we wish for the 1966 Tau to present the students of this school as Youth On The Go. [ 2 ]
