There is only one thing which a man must do if he is to accomplish his purpose; he must try, if he would give meaning to his life. There is only one set of standards which exists which is enduringly meaningful, that which a man sets for himself. He need compare his achievements only to his own ability. His only moral obligation is to himself, also, for he must live with himself before he can live with other men. 12

We have passed through the doors marked Curiosity seeking Wisdom, yet knew not what we sought. This Wisdom is an indefinable thing, and means a thousand different things to a thousand different people. Yet it is not foreign to us. It makes the word ignorance void of meaning, for there really is no ig- norance. There is no man who can see through another man ' s eyes, or think with another man ' s mind, and to each individual there has been given a talent to utilize in his life and a purpose for which to utilize it, and no other man can fulfill that purpose.

The increasing years of our lives have brought us back now to the seas and the clouds, and we ponder the winds and the tides with far different thoughts from the ones of our childhood. The tides would have lulled us once, but now they beckon like the ageless hand of Time. We feel that if we could but read the chronicles on the sands and the rocks, could but decipher the tongues in which the winds speak, we would need to know nothing more. If we would but capture and possess the elusive Truth which leaves forever a melancholy, empty longing in our souls, we would need no more fulfillment. 13
