LLTHE E TJL C S The summer of 1975 was a time of Educational Enrichment in Europe for some members of the class of 76: Cheryl Burnside, Jan Dawson, and Ruth Langlee. There was a play in London as well as an opera in Paris, folk dancing in Munich, and a fondue in Switzerland. And, who could forget the Colosseum in Rome or St. Peters Cathedral and the Papal blessing at Vatican City. Yes, the halls of Ranum High School stretched all the way to the Eiffel Tower and the Alps Mountains for these Flanum Raiders. Q New Mexico Trip ln October of 1975 the advanced Lore of the West Class traveled to Santa Fe, New Mexico to develop an awareness and apprecia- tion for the biculturalism of the Southwest. During three days the class toured Bandelier National Park and visited the Toas, Nambi and Santa lldefonso Pueblos along with the Chimayo Church, the Governor's Palace and the Church of the winding staircase. Upon returning to Denver they visited the Ortega and Cordova Weavers. lun! Here, the class is at the ancient ruins in Frijoles Canyon, exploring the Bandlier National Park grounds.
